The Plant and Quarantine Department is located in the arrivals area post security at the AIA. This department falls under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Transformation. Guidelines are set by the Government of SVG for the quarantine restrictions which are to be enforced when entering St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Please see the following links for more information. Border Protection is enforced not only by the Customs and Excise Department of St. Vincent and the Grenadines but also by the Security Department of the AIA. When entering St. Vincent and the Grenadines VISA requirements are needed for some territories while others provide “Visa on arrival services” for a limited time only. The Security and Operations Department at the AIA are responsible for handling and storing lost property. However, the Customer Service Department can also be contacted to recover lost property. These Departments can be contacted at 784-453-9400 or 784-453-9495 for further information.

While there are no designated smoking areas, smoking is allowed outside the terminal building. Smoking is NOT permitted inside of the terminal building.

For most layovers, you can leave the transit area (and airport) in between flights, as long as you have a visa (if necessary). You must pass through customs and immigration on the way out. You must also clear with security on your way back into the airport. While it is discouraged to leave an airport when awaiting a connecting flight, if it is necessary, please notify a customer agent so you can be contacted if the flight arrives earlier than scheduled.

Yes, the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines offers services at the AIA. Their branch is located in the General Arrivals area. ATM services are also available 24/7. Click Here for more details.

Yes, the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has a branch located in the General Arrivals Area that offers a variety of banking services at the AIA. The currencies currently available for purchase as well as sale are USA, BDS, EURO, GBP and CAD.

There are four (4) car rental operators currently at the AIA. Passengers have the option of either pre-booking their rental car and collecting on arrival, or booking a car on the spot.

Not at the moment. However, the AIA has a staff of trained and qualified nurses who are readily available upon need or request. They would be equipped to handle any medical needs or concerns accordingly.

Presently airline lounges are not available at the AIA. However, a CIP (Commercially Important People) lounge will soon be operational at the AIA.

The car park at the AIA is uncovered. As such, no vehicle height restrictions are in place.

Presently there are no facilities to provide such service. However, in special situations, Customer Service Assistants on shift would be able to facilitate your request.

All LAGs should be carried in containers not exceeding 100ml. Any LAGs carried in a container larger than 100ml will not be accepted as a carry-on item, even if the container is only part-filled. Containers with LAGs should be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag. The containers must fit comfortably within the transparent plastic bag, which should be completely closed. Multiple bags are allowed, providing EACH does not exceed 100ml per container. Prescriptions for medicines may be requested at the security checkpoint.

AIA has a Conference Room available for rent. The hourly rate is ECD350.00 per hour and there is a daily rate of ECD1140.00 per day. The Conference room is fitted to seat 14 people and has a projector available.
